Saying “Pants Up, Don’t Loot” to the intended target’s face isn’t so much humor vs mean spiritedness as humor vs death wish.
I have a quick simple test that separates true humor from mean spiritedness. I ask myself is the joke something that they would say straight to the face of the one that they are supposedly joking about?

Suppression of facts and data in a FEDGovt. investigation
is 'par for the course', and expected.
Why has there been no photographs release of the police officers injuries, or even the X-rays ?
How many casings were found at the scene ?
Was there powder residue on the police officer ?
Was there powder residue on the "gentle giant" ?
Were bullet holes found in the background/ buildings where Brown was shot ?
Will there be criminal prosecutions for 'sworn testimony to police' which is later found to be false ?
The FEDS always hold back information until after they set the media narrative in alledged "Racial Incidents", or as I call it :
Black Legal Exceptionalism ..(the rules are different!)
Did anyone think the 6 that hit were the only ones fired? I’m sure Wilson missed some with his eye socket smashed and all. I think cops miss targets in part all the time.
Maybe the facts don’t fit the narrative. So the facts have to be amended.
Not is the audio is correct. It was nonstop shooting from the first shot, with a 2 sec pause after 6 shots.
I figure why speculate on an audio that hasn’t even been confirmed yet as authentic?
Of course, that didn’t stop CNN from airing it. The cable news coverage of Michael Brown’s killing has exceeded in scale even the treatment of the Zimmerman case. It seems that with each such incident, there’s an escalation of news interest in it. One might have thought that, with the release of the convenience store robbery video, at least the characterization of Brown as an innocent overgrown child might have ceased. But no; any cracks in that narrative must be stomped out, and the offender made to apologize.
All we have at the moment are initial forensics released by autopsy for Brown:
No gunshot residue on Brown’s body (clothes unknown).
An abrasion to the side of Brown’s face. No other abrasions on body, injuries or signs of an altercation.
Four rounds to the arm, direction undetermined.
Two rounds to the head consistent with head being lowered.
Yup. That’s pretty much the only hard evidence we have, and it alone is not dispositive as to any of the relevant questions re: the shooting. Even the angle of the head shot doesn’t prove much - could have been because Brown was charging, or it could have been one of the later shots, and hit him as he fell.
My opinion no abrasion marks on knees, elbows show no movement, no charging by the punk as is usually typical of one falling on pavement while in motion. Just abrasion on side of face, as if he’s already lowered, then falls face first. Standing up 6’ 4” doesn’t explain downward head shots from shorter cop. Punk charging head lowered/falling while getting shot would explain head shot angle, but then where are abrasions?
No damage to punk’s hand if he punched cop in eye, of course maybe a spear hand was used, fingers together in martial arts jab, or a palm strike and cop connected with edge of a seat belt hanging up. Who knows. Of course no verification of actual eye damage, and video of Wilson walking around dead Brown shows him not nursing eye or any facial damage.
Probably had the t shirt and snacks concession.
Oh, like Janna Bessin, Rho Chalmers, Scott Hillman from the PERRY Grand Jury case who went public and gave interviews ?
Yeah, IF the audio tape that CANNOT BE VERIFIED which was given to CNN who gave it to the FBI is original, unedited, and even has anything to do with this case.
Maybe they can get some audio guy to prove that the gunfire sounds on the tape match exactly the gunfire sounds of the Officer's weapon when fired in a test facility.
