MOSCOW/ NOVOAZOVSK Ukraine (Reuters) - On Monday, a resident of Novoazovsk in south-eastern Ukraine said she saw a column of armored vehicles approach the town and start shooting.

"It all started at 8:00 this morning, tanks appeared, no fewer than seven of them," the woman, who gave her name only as Lyudmila, told Reuters by telephone. "Right now I can hear rumbling, explosions ... the residents are hiding."

“And before we took out Saddam, lefties like you claimed we were killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqi kids with our boycott.”

I am not a lefty and in no way believe anything put out by the main stream media. That said the whole boycott was just stupid and did nothing but hurt the people of Iraq and benefited the Saudi’s and elites which we paid for with higher oil prices. And it was the Saudi’s that funded 9/11 not Saddam so why are we not bombing the heck out of them? And why are you so wrapped up in outrage over this when there are dozens of other dictators around the world feeding people they don’t like into shredders?

“I’m better informed on your main man Putin than you’ll ever be.”

That’s so arrogant its funny! Where did I ever say I was for Putin? He’s an A-hole just like most other world leaders and yes I know quite a bit about him. You’re so worked up about this I can actually see the spittle from your sputtering on my screen!

If you're not a lefty, you do a good job of acting and thinking like one. How do you know Saudis funded 9/11? Can you provide the reference to the document?

And why are you so wrapped up in defending foreign tyrants, like Putin? Is he your favorite? Are you in love with him? Do the crimes of others make his okay for you?

Conversely, why are you so not wrapped up in outrage over this when there are dozens of other dictators around the world feeding people they don't like into shredders? Instead, mouthing inanities such as "no controlling legal authority," and "no U.S. interest."

“How do you know Saudis funded 9/11? Can you provide the reference to the document?”

That’s about as silly a comment as I’ve seen. What nationality were all the 9/11 hijackers? What nationality was Osama?

It’s not arrogance at all. It’s access. It’s what you have a need to know. You know you are okay with Putin and his actions or think just objecting to his actions on an American website is likely to make me culpable for World War III. So how fatuous are you to write such nonsense? How arrogant is it of you to suggest the people of Central Europe must submit to Putin, you clown.

So you think if the majority of the 9/11 terrorist were Saudis, then that's what proves Saudi financing?

Would it be beyond the al Qaeda leadership not to choose Saudis as the attackers to break the close ties of the USA and Saudi Arabia making the Saudis more vulnerable to al Qaeda's takeover? Huh? Oh, only the nefarious Ukrainians are guilty of Machiavellian tricks. Al Qaeda and your loving Putin get a pass on cynical manipulation and your conspiracy day dreams.

Well, other than we’ve killed far more Iraqi’s than Saddam ever did,

Did we? Saddam was shooting next to hospitals, or on top of them, or next to schools and mosques. Islamists routinely explode themselves killing as many innocent people as possible. Are we responsible for every death that is the result of such behavior?

have destabilized the entire country caused the entire Christian population of the country to be slaughtered and made it a breeding ground for terrorists like the ISIS I guess you’re correct. Boy did we show them! /S

Did we? Looks like the surge was succcessful and Iraq was doing relatively well. The problem came with Obama and when he withdrew our forces and how he did it. At the very least, however, the Kurds are taking up responsibility, and, even with Obama around, I suspect they will establish their own nation and have a much better future than they would have had under Saddam.

You’re on the wrong website. - Since when did you become a mod?

This is the pro-American conservative one. - All you seem interested in Ukraine's politics.

Not the pro-foreign tyrant one - like Ukraine's current dictator.

Yes, that’s a perfect self-description for you. Thank you, you apologist for Saddam, Noriega, Gaddafy, and Putin. You’re blind to tyranny. And again why post on a site dedicate to conservatism and freedom. Pick a statist site or a NAZI or Islamic one that suits your temperament and values, you daft sophist.

Since when did you? I’m pointing out values. I know where you stand as a consistent fan of Putin. You’re his boy and happy to be in love with him.

pro-Saddam, pro-Gaddaffi, or pro-Milosevic

All 3 of the above ran countries where the radical Islams were held in check. Since you and Obama/Clinton/McCain took them down, the places have been hell holes (need I mention Egypt's Mubarek, and Iran's Shah).

There're a lot more Christians that would rather live in a country run by Saddam or Gaddaffi or the Shah than are now struggling to survive there.

If Putin had had his way, in those places, including Lybia and Syria, we wouldn't have the crisis we have today.

Do you think Putin can keep the Ukrainians “in check?” Keep them away from silly things, like wanting independence?
