I’ve yet to have an accident since I started wearing my seat belt every time I drive since decades ago. I consider wearing a seat belt extremely effective at preventing injuries.

I agree with you about seat belts. The are numerous examples of them saving lives. The questions I have about lifelock services are around what they are doing that I’m not already doing myself.

I have had an experience with a Bank card being skimmed. The Bank was proactive by de-activating the card. They never notified the customer. We found out several days later when we tried to use the card. We filed a police report, and it took several more days for the detectives to get the ATM videos. Needless to say, the bank was more worried about their exposure than they were about catching the criminals. I no longer do business with that bank. This is because IMHO the customer does not come first but covering their eventual lost did.
