Addressing an international forum in Warsaw, ex-Pres Leonid Kravchuk said time will soon come when Crimean residents will ask to readmit them back into Ukraine, Ukrinform reports July 11.
“Three million Crimeans cannot tolerate their present miserable life,” he said.

I doubt that Putey has the monetary resources to fight a protracted war with the Ukraine. World opinion is all over him. The 40 or so oligarchs he works for are likely in a stew over the sanctions on business that are being put in place by the EU and the US. He has stepped in poop and at the moment has not figured the way out yet.
Not going to happen—Once Russia takes a place—they almost never give it up. Crimea has made their bed and must sleep in it. Now with the Land Bridge formed by invasion, more Russians will move in-—Welcome to the New Russian Empire Comrade! DA!
