Again, I agree. We’ve got some people whom I call putinistas who never read anything by Solzhenitsyn, who think the Soviet Union was basically just another form of government. They don’t see it for the murderous slave state that it was. The fact that Putin and his daddy were employees of the secret police for the communist party and worked to sustain the Soviet elite strikes them as just another job. These putinistas are moral equivalizers, like the lefties who are always bad mouthing America.
Yes, there are many who reflexively take the side of any American foe. I've never been able to figure them out. I guess they just feel victimized by the rest of us here in America. Life just hasn't been fair to them.
