A: Yes. Before his two-week trip to Martha’s Vineyard in August, Obama’s count was 125 full or partial days and Bush’s total at the same point in his presidency was 407.

The vacation also occurred during the funeral of Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene, the only general officer killed in Afghanistan.
Obama faced criticism for being on vacation during these times, but those types of complaints are nothing new — either to Obama or presidents in general.
Readers may recall the criticism directed at Bush for the August weeks spent at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Others may remember Democrats chastising President Dwight Eisenhower for spending time on the golf course.
We last dealt with the who-took-more-vacation question in January 2010, at which point Obama had spent 26 days on “vacation” during his first year in office, fewer than the first year totals for Presidents Bush, George H.W. Bush or Ronald Reagan. Our numbers are all courtesy of CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, who has covered every president since Gerald Ford and tracks the commander in chief’s travel.

These lying sacks o’ crap make no distinction between a day in Crawford, inside a fully equipped facility capable of functioning exactly as the white house functions, and a day in someone else’s luxury villa, golfing and eating ice cream.
The issue isn’t number of vacations or vacation days. It’s vacationing during 2-3 crises and returning to the golf course, while people are being buried or families grieving, and while enemies are making military advances and killing hundreds of innocent people.
Well, gotta agree on one point. Regardless of whether he is on vacation or working, from both he continues the destruction of the former United States of America.
Just as Ø can’t distinguish when the Senate is in or out of recess, the destruction by Ø continues whether or not he is in recess as well.
It’s not how many but where - Bush had a WH setup at his ranch and that’s where he’d go. Same as Reagan. 0bozo on the other hand goes all over the world and takes his ‘vacations’ at the most inopportune time.

Well, if Obama is in fact taking less vacation time, his results are horrible, so, he’s not doing too well for working so much.
I know Bush gave up Golf while the Military was fighting. Crawford and Kennebunkport were setup as Presidential retreats because the Bush’s owned them unlike renter Obama.
Or did he or Laura travel to big splashy places? Of course not. They went to the ranch. PLUS I would like them to count all of Mooch’s vacation time too
Bush went to his own place and OFTEN hosted world leaders there to allow him a chance to offer personal hospitality. Has Obama done that? NO!
YEAH....bet they counted long weekends at the Texas or Maine homes as “vacation”....how many times has the O been to Chicago to stay???

Obama is at his best when he is on vacation. He and the myriad feeblewitz’s with whom he has surrounded himself do least damage when they are off playing rock star on the campaign trail.
