More power to him. It will split the establishment vote.
Portman was my former congressman from the Ohio 2nd. At that time he was a died in the wool conservative. He got elevated by the Bushes, and apparently infected at the same time.
He’s establishment now...it seems.
Maybe he’s a conservative Manchurian candidate splitting the vote with establishment types, but who cares about conspiracy, because he WILL split the establishment vote.
Go for it, Rob. Beat that Mitt!

See, see, you mean-old so-con right-wingers! Portman’s our guy! Why, he’s the ONE Republican the Dems fear the most, I tell ya! Boy, are they shaking in their boots right now!

I have met him in several capacities.
Nice guy.
Policy wonk.
Exudes the charisma of a dead gerbil.
Picked last for dodge ball.
Sits when he pees.
But that is just my opinion, and I don’t feel strongly about it.

If Portman becomes President, the LEGALIZATION OF GAY MARRIAGE IN AMERICA, slowly started by Obama will be complete.

If the POS 0bama proved anything, then he proves the prerequisite for being POTUS is a few terms as a state governor. An executive familiar with naming heads of agencies and then managing the results. Portman? No.

Ryan filled in for hannity today. They had prepped callers who made statements that set up Ryan to talk up Portman and talk down repealing obamacare. Sure hope most republicans are smarter than democrats and see through the lies. I’m so over the Republican Party. We need either a third party or Jesus to come back real soon.

A Portman run for the presidency would be as exciting as a Bob Dole run for the presidency.
Maybe even less exciting.

We need a governor who know how to manage a budget and is held accountable for a large budget.
Senators tend to have god complexes and turn out to be wacky executives.

If it is someone from Ohio, I'd much rather have Kasich than Portman. There was a time where being a U.S. senator virtually eliminated you from becoming president - we need to go back to those times.
