Obama has dark skin but that does not put him in a class of ‘black’ Africans. I myself as a child was often taken as a ‘black’ person as a child especially in summertime. My mother and father came from parts of Russia where dark skin is not unusual. When in the Philippines and other Pacific Islands during WWII I was often taken as a dark skinned native. For me Obama’s dark skin is used as a subterfuge for his true identity.
