chanting neo-nazi slogans

Are neo-Nazi slogans worse than Commie slogans? Why?

Are Nazis worse than Commies? Why?

OK, I won’t argue that, although I may not believe it. But now we’re back to square one. Who can you trust over there?

In the world, and on our own soil as of late, lies are truth, and truth are lies. On many subjects, it’s so easy to see the live action lies these days with the internet, unlike when one had to rely on “honest” news reporting ala Cronkite, Chancellor, Jennings, Nightline, etc.

We can only go by the history and actions that can be verified regarding Putin and those who share power there, and the history and actions of the EU/NATO and it’s players too.

won’t argue that. But to deny that the EU is not in the equation regarding potential outcome is foolish.

What does Latvia and Lithuania have that Russia wants. They have plenty of nothing of which Russia already has.

Da, comrade. Don't listen to what the Kremlin says about the "near abroad." Listen to your heart.

Looks like the EU doesn’t want to be involved. They haven’t even sent a pistol.

Russia is the bad guy they always have been.

The dichotomy is interesting to observe. One minute, people are lambasting the EU and NATO for their weakness and inaction. The other minute the EU and NATO are the evil puppeteers that have beset the Russians.

I believe Putin is setting an old stage scenario for a Russia with an empire similar to the days of Tsar Nicholas. He has in his mind and recollection the days when the western powers with impetus by way of the Rothchilds and Lenin cohorts acted to put Russia under the control of western Europe financiers. As a first generation USA citizen of ‘Russian’ parentage and a USA vet of WWII I see Putin being very skittish about western European power brokers. I am too but Putin has crossed the mental ‘red line’ that keeps him from being friends with ordinary USA citizens. I also believe that if people in the USA believe that nations like France, Germany, to some extent Poland and Scandinavian nations are dyed in the wool/life and death USA supporters they had best do some rethinking.

What a dumb question. No one is chanting Commie slogans.

What's your game, hi jacking the discussion or trolling. Give me 5 good reasons you do it.

The Russians have increased military spending by about a third since 2008, the EU is reducing spending on military. The EU hasn’t been invading any countries.

Putin has been reviving all the communist holidays and resurrecting the image of Lenin as a great leader.

No one is chanting Commie slogans.

Nope. No one. Look, squirrel!

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the notoriously fire-and-brimstone leader of the LDPR, proposed reviving the Russian Empire, replacing Russia's flag with the imperial one, introducing a minister of propaganda and renaming the office of president "supreme commander."

"Elections are worthless, they are a profanation," Zhirinovsky told the audience of elected lawmakers.

Putin responded by saying that Zhirinovsky's arguments do not always reflect Russia's official position, but that he always "gets the party going."

Putin has been trying to rehab the image of Lenin recently

He has called surrounding former Soviet satellites “fake countries” even the ones he asked to join his Eurasian Union... now Kazakhstan sees how little Putin thinks of their sovereignty they may drop out of that union.

He called Ukraine “Novorossiya” or “New Russia” which exactly harkens back to the old Tsraist/Soviet era.

Listen, and understand. The Russians are out there.
They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear.
And it they absolutely will not stop, ever, until this thread collapses of their own incompetence.

And yet our own Borscht Brigade has the audacity to claim, with a straight face, that there are no commies left in Russia. (Meanwhile, naturally, in Ukraine Nazis grow like mushrooms after a rainstorm).

I might have killed the thread by posting links to support the theory that Putin is a Soviet supporter and is bringing it back.

Yes we won the Cold War, and we are going to win this new Cold War too. Russia will lose, just like they lost last time.

So far, the only thing that I’ve seen that makes the Borscht Brigade look for the exits is posting info about the Chechens fighting for the Russian military.
