Obama is clueless about the reality in the Middle East. He and John Kerry believe that if we just appease these groups they will be nice to us. In their world view the US has always been the aggressor using its super power status to intimidate or bully other world powers. They believe that by weakening the US and following a policy of appeasement they will achieve world peace.

Clinton’s original impeachment proceedings were going to be for treason, for selling top secret missile technology to communist China in exchange for campaign cash for his 1996 re-election efforts. The liberal republicans in congress decided against this. I remember back in the day that then US Senator Don Nichols, OK, stated that the American People would not be able to withstand the spectacle of an American president being tried for treason. The last high profile case such as this one would have been Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, who went to the electric chair in 1953 for giving atomic secrets to the Soviets. Can you imagine, in a 24-hour news cycle world, the endless and ceaseless speculation on the fate of Slick Willy? In retrospect, Senator Nichols was wrong, for if the American People had become aware of just who the democrats really were, and to what levels they would sink, even the least informed citizens (meaning those who vote for democrats) would have been aware of the dangers of voting for them. Only now, when civilization itself hangs over the abyss by a thread, are they becoming vaguely aware that something is amiss. A perfect opportunity to clarify for the country, and indeed the entire world, was lost. One opportunity among so many.
