I took comfort in that idea from January 20th 1981 until January 20th 2009.
When Obama was sworn in I feared for America and the West, knowing that this stuffed shirt is a nothing with no experience and a lot of self-confidence based on being a Community Organizer.
I feared for the worst and the sum of all those fears are being realized like a very bad dream.
Many folks now realize (it took 6 years???) that he is worse than anybody could have predicted.
Even though I stood vehemently against him, I still wanted him to succeed and be a good President and world leader.
He is the sum of all nothingness, inabilities and ineptitude.
My Leftist froends all knee-jerk re-flexed at me that I was a “Racist” but that is not true. I am and have been against a rudderless so-called leader who is leading us to ruin.

Clinton’s original impeachment proceedings were going to be for treason, for selling top secret missile technology to communist China in exchange for campaign cash for his 1996 re-election efforts. The liberal republicans in congress decided against this. I remember back in the day that then US Senator Don Nichols, OK, stated that the American People would not be able to withstand the spectacle of an American president being tried for treason. The last high profile case such as this one would have been Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, who went to the electric chair in 1953 for giving atomic secrets to the Soviets. Can you imagine, in a 24-hour news cycle world, the endless and ceaseless speculation on the fate of Slick Willy? In retrospect, Senator Nichols was wrong, for if the American People had become aware of just who the democrats really were, and to what levels they would sink, even the least informed citizens (meaning those who vote for democrats) would have been aware of the dangers of voting for them. Only now, when civilization itself hangs over the abyss by a thread, are they becoming vaguely aware that something is amiss. A perfect opportunity to clarify for the country, and indeed the entire world, was lost. One opportunity among so many.

I know it ain’t cool to brag but he is no worse than I predicted from day one. I know some others who had him pegged also. Most of us were just hoping against hope to be proven wrong. It is bad to be wrong when you want to be right but it is much worse to be right when you want to be wrong.
