Pro-American when it is convenient for them, but easily radicalized or defeated by radicals.

I think the existence of the Kurds stands as a strong repudiation of such a claim. Not only have they not turned on the U.S. since we've parted, right now they are the only ones actually putting up a fight against ISIS.

Not any more. Wake me up for Hungary, meanwhile I think I will take a nap.

The Russkies are working on Hungary, as they are supporting the Neo-Nazi party Jobbick and other forces within that country that are Pro-Moscow.

Russia has some demographic concerns, it should not be exaggerated but it seems possible.

So they are: In Hungary, for example, Putin has taken the Jobbik party under his wing. The third-largest party in the country, Jobbik has supporters who dress in Nazi-type uniforms, spout anti-Semitic rhetoric, and express concern about Israeli “colonization” of Hungary. The party has capitalized on rising support for nationalist economic policies, which are seen as an antidote for unpopular austerity policies and for Hungary’s economic liberalization in recent years. Russia is bent on tapping into that sentiment. In May 2013, Kremlin-connected right-wing Russian nationalists at the prestigious Moscow State University invited Jobbik party president Gabor Vona to speak.

That is certainly a reputable source and writer, but a bit of a European socialist. However, the facts are clear, the Jobbik party invites anti-semites and has them among its leaders.

Growing number?
- nah, I don’t think so. Putins objectives of tearing apart Ukraine seem to be getting pretty clear for all to see.

Now, if he were to send troops into Syria and kill all of the rebels there, Americans would actually support that, I’m guessing. But I think the Russians are enjoying seeing the mess our government policymakers created in Syria.
