Why does the “Christian” world stand aloof?

American Christians think they are “persecuted” if someone makes fun of their faith or the minister preaches over his allotted 15 minute sermon. American Christians, in large number, follow “prosperity and positive thinking” Elmer Gantrys to find out how much more they can get from the Heavenly Lottery.
Churches should be ashamed and be on their knees begging God for forgiveness when they read stories like this one. But no, they will continue to follow the lukewarm “speak it and receive it” doctrines until God spews them out of his mouth.
Pray and fast for our fellow brothers and sisters all over the world who face real persecution and ask God for the strength to persevere it when it happens here.

Catholics might be coward, I don’t know, I don’t know enough of them, but I can assure you Christians aren’t.
I do think we have a common enemy, and it needs to be dealt with, but I also think God is using them for his purpose. Eventually, he will sort it all out. What happens between now and then is hard to say. One thing I can say with certainty is it’s going to get a lot worse.
