As part of a legal settlement that will allow some illegal immigrants who deported themselves from Southern California to return to the United States, the federal government has agreed to advertise the settlement on various Mexican and Spanish-language media outlets.
The ACLU filed a class-action lawsuit last year on behalf of eleven illegal immigrants who deported themselves. The settlement reached on Wednesday will only cover "longtime California residents with relatives who are U.S. citizens and... young migrants whose parents brought them into the country illegally" who deported themselves between 2009 and 2013. An ACLU official has indicated that there were nearly 250,000 people who were "deported voluntarily from Southern California between 2009 and 2013" and estimated to the Los Angeles Times that the "number of repatriations could reach into the hundreds or thousands."

So, if an illegal willingly goes back home, on their own dime, that’s illegal and we have to get them back here to again reside illegally?

When you have a government, a political party, that does not follow the rule of law, and makes up their interpretation of a law thru a rigged court system...

These kinds of lawsuits and settlements are sweetheart scams.
Just another underhanded liberal scam to bypass our constitution and laws.
Liberals, like the ACLU, sue the liberal federal government in pursuit of a liberal objective.
The liberals in government agree to a settlement giving the plaintiffs what they want.
It gives the government a way to implement a liberal objective by disguising the action as a court settlement instead of having to pass a bill through congress or enact an unpopular (and possibly illegal) Executive Order.
The agreements fly in the face of tradition and laws but the government claims their hands are tied because they are bound by a court agreement.
Kinda fits the narrative of,
“...if they cannot get their way though legislation, they get it through the courts...”
I would love to get one of those...
And buy up a bunch more ammo...

In otheer news, the administration announced that restrictions on imprisoned bank robbers and murderers will be lifted allowing them back into society with all rights restored.
Why not...they only rob banks and kill such a small number of citizens a year...
They feel it is an acceptable ratio...

Isn’t that something they do every time they have to attend their cousin’s birthday party in Mexico ?
Immigration gives them a free ride back to Mexico, then after the party, they sneak back in.
Hey CM, we also got this new law where health care premiums are going to go down, you can see any doctor that you want to and we can all rest assured that the law will be implemented with integrity and professionalism as the IRS is in charge of the implementation...
