Gaaahhd! Now I’m going to be in a dog kicking mood all day. This vacuous twit is going to go all the way to the White House claiming to be a Republican and acting like a democrat.
I’m just waiting for the Perrybots to show up and start zotting me because I am opposed to these so-called “Texas Republicans”
Says an official in the oil-rich land of Texas.
Republicans are hopeless.
Sfl
I may vote for the dem for land commissioner after reading that.
sounds like G.H.W. Bush - wants to please everybody
...
Also, dealing with recovery. I mean, how do we respond in an effective way to hurricanes, or the next category 3, 4 or 5 [hurricane] that hits the greater Houston metropolitan area? I mean, thats something that honestly keeps me up at night.
What keeps me up at night is how so many people can be so stupid. But this man is stupid right up to the brim.
Why don’t the Bushes go back to Russia or wherever they are from and take Hinckley with them.
SO, there is ZERO warming for over a decade, but we can all agree there has been warming in recent years.
What an idiot. Sounds as ignorant on climate as his daddy is on immigration and education.
No mo’ Bushes, for the love of God.
Never vote for a Bush again!
Post a hit-piece, expect blowback.

Trying to figure out why people are upset...
This was an interview specifically on one topic, the environment.
He admits it’s not his number one issue.
He doesn’t buy into anthropogenic GW.
He’s is concerned more about real issues, for example coastal erosion, than the political hand waiving about rising seas.
He thinks the state can relate better than the EPA.
He thinks taking advantage of natural gas by driving new energy opportunities, and by removing the barriers to export will allow Texas to lead energy for generations to come is a smart plan.
He thinks politicians do better work when they spend less time campaigning and have to live under the same rules they created.
He isn’t afraid to work in the private sector and not be a career politician.
He states that there are some topics for which compromise is not an option. (I’d like to know what those are, but I appreciate the concept.)
He admits openly that his name is an advantage but he’s doing his best to be his own man.
I know a lot of people are simply upset about another Bush running for office.
I guess I just don’t understand the vitriol.
I didn’t see much here to get all up in arms about...
*** Give me a moment to grab my flack jacket, because I’m sure I’m about to get pummeled ***
He’s not running for Governor, Abbott is.
GLO is not much of a stepping stone to the Governor’s office. Thus I’m mostly caring to keep some damn lib dems out of any Texas Office.
The interview was with lots of “gotcha” traps from Mr. Soros’ Tex Trib. Anything from this rag needs to be taken with copious quantities of salt. GeoP’s CO2 mentions are more from a “pro-natural gas” angle, than some Globull Warming one.
The enemy speaks
I stand with Jesse Jackson on the Bushies
Stopped reading at “Bush”.
There is some “groupthink” on FR...you think?
