The Saudi royals see ISIS as a threat to the royal family. There is a growing rift in the Islamic world and you want to snuff it out. I say that we sell conventional weapons to the Saudis and let them fight ISIS. That way we profit$$$$ and they will be mired in conflict. In WWII we made a lot of money arming various factions in the war.
