1. Do you believe public employee unions have been a constructive force in American society or a destructive one?

2. Are you for MORE government in American lives or LESS government?

3. Would you consider the “war on poverty” of the last fifty years to have been a success?

4. Do you like big money in politics or dislike it?

5. Does the economy function better with greater regulation or less regulation?

I don’t befriend libs. I simply do not trust their morality, judgment, and reasoning ability. No joke.

At what point would you stop supporting the socialist agenda?

When I am marched off to a camp, when I am beaten, or when I am shot?

I do have Liberal friends and family members. But I don’t talk politics with them. It is as Ronaldus Magnus once said - “the problem with our Liberal friends is that they ‘know’ so much that isn’t true.” They are so bound up in believing so many cockamammy things that you can’t ever get past the wall of untruths and half-truths to engage them. And anyway, none of them really want to talk with someone who doesn’t share their worldview.

Excellent points to ponder.

I agree that the hardcore leftists who are still 100% behind Obama won’t deal; they will counter with attacks and ignore the questions.

But I’m saving these for the people who are “media driven” liberals because they weakly go with whatever they hear on TV. Especially the young ones: good for your own older kids too. Excellent questions.

Do you believe that “actions speak louder than words”?

Oh you do, then explain the net outflow of money, people and business from blue areas to red ones.

Since you are so into “diversity” and “affirmative action”:

Why don’t white liberals move into minority neighborhoods and send their kids to minority-majority schools? Why don’t you shop and invest in minority businesses and areas?

Why do you follow the hated conservatives into their suburbs and school districts?

Why don’t you give up your positions, promotions, and Lil Darlins spots in prep schools, colleges and professional schools in favor of a “disadvantaged” minority?

How can you be so for the sanctity of life for convicted killers yet openly support abortion and its proponents?

Wow. I don’t often click through to a link in an article’s comments section, but I did click through to this one: http://www.mypracticalphilosophy.com/shelp/mythdiff.htm Despite some grammar errors, this guy NAILS it.

I think a lot of you read the questions but not the first two paragraphs of the article where he pretty much states that it is hopeless to have an open and honest discussion with liberals. These questions are not for them. They are for the left-leaning or pro-democrats who are not hardcore who are still open to discussion.

He writes: “If I were being totally honest, I would say that it has not been my experience that very many left-leaning folks in this country want to have an honest dialogue on the key issues that separate left from right. This is particularly true amongst the academically credentialed leftists I have encountered who presumably know they have nothing to gain by exposing their worldview or ability to defend it.
However, the vast majority of us know some in our Rolodex of friends and co-workers who are naturally inclined towards a more left-wing (liberal), pro-Democratic Party stance/platform, and yet are willing to engage and discuss the various issues that separate us. This article is intended for your discussions with THESE people, for whom I believe these questions may be useful in their attempts to think through their liberal political worldview, or your attempts to engage them in such.”
