President Obama is working to create a new international climate change accord that would get other nations to reduce their carbon emissions, but in a way that would not require the deal to be ratified by the Senate.

I love how the New York Times Times and others are trying to provide political cover for the Administration by saying it's no big deal that we shutdown more of our plants while we put tracker boxes on all new cars to tax you by the mile.

We don't a legislature.
We don't need courts.
We have Obama. What more could one ask for?

Without US Senate approval, the “treaty” has no force of law.

“Without US Senate approval, the treaty has no force of law.”
Perhaps an Executive Order or two can fix that

Their end run is to modify the provisions of an earlier treaty — update it with new “science.” They hope to end run the process and just start mandating compliance with the old treaty with new regulations and limits.
It is all so modern.

He can do whatever he damn well pleases because Congress indicated they won’t impeach. He will go scorched earth on the U.S.

Without US Senate approval, the treaty has no force of law. True, in my opinion. But how much damage will be done by this bunch of outlaws before the courts affirm that? That's assuming the Obama bunch isn't able to pack the courts as they're attempting to do.

The United States is bound by Treaties, not “deals”.

He’s getting desperate, he needs to tear down the country before his term is up. I’m sick of the lack of heroes on the Republicans’ side. He needs to be stopped cold...NOW!!

"..Perhaps an Executive Order or two can fix that..." On the bright side of the executive order thing, once 0 is out of office, if we get a real American next time, he/she can wipe out anything the current azzhole puts in with another EO.
