NEW YORK CITY, New York, United States – UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage appeared on the popular Hannity programme on Fox News tonight, discussing UK sovereignty, ISIS, David Cameron, and Islamist radicalisation. Farage, who was stopped and praised numerous times in the street whilst walking to the Fox News studio in Manhattan, said that prisons and schools were hotbeds of radicalisation in the UK, and reflected on how Britain has been "too weak" on Islamism in recent years.

Nigel is very much like Churchill who also knew islam is evil.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”

“Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

- Sir Winston Churchill; The River War, first edition, Vol. II, pages 248-50 - London

Cameron is posturing as tough and making noise right now to save his sorry self from the wrath of the electorate.

Any “laws” he pushes through in the pre-election period will be overturned by courts later on after the election.

I’ve seen Republican Party politicians do that trick in the US.

The only thing is, Farage did not obtain higher education. Although he went to an independent school as a boy, he elected not to go to university. Thatcher was educated as a chemist.

Then again, Churchill was a "poor student", and went no further after Harrow.

For no particular reason except to recall when adults were in charge, here is a nostalgic picture:

Thatcher's cabinet meets with Reagan's cabinet, 1981.

Wonder what those little pewter plates were for? Wonder whose portrait Obama has replace Lincoln with?

"The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men."

Bears repeating, especially in view of the recent rape-jihad scandal in Britain and the enslavement of Christian and Yazidi women by ISIS.

He has had 4 years, he doesn’t have the capital and neither the support from even his own party and bear in mind he is in coalition with a left wing party who will do everything they can to stitch him up before the election as they face a wipeout. He won’t be able to pass a thing, he will only be able to talk and in doing so he will just look even weaker.

He is utterly screwed and I am so glad of that.

He faced off against the worst PM in modern history, perhaps ever in Gordon Brown, who ran a horrendous campaign filled with embarrassments, and still the best he could do even after 13 years of Labour is a coalition with a liberal party.

Looks like Reagan had his jelly bean jar next to his pewter plate . . . probably to use as coasters.

The plates were probably coasters for glasses. Interesting that they are there and there are pitchers (presumably with water) but no glasses. Perhaps whomever took the picture thought the glasses might be a distraction or maybe they hadn’t finished setting the table (so to speak), but one would think that the table would have been set before everyone came in.

Thanks for the picture!

Could also be ashtrays, I suppose, but coasters are more likely.

I think eventually we will see Nigel Farage elected PM of Britain. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Churchill’s supposed dunce-ery and poor education is a myth.
