New poll gives GOP edge in battleground states. How significant?
The Christian Science Monitor ^ | 9/3/14 | Peter Grier

There’s fresh evidence that Republicans are inching toward winning control of the Senate in November. The bipartisan George Washington University Battleground Poll released Wednesday has the GOP ahead on the generic congressional ballot by 4 percentage points, 46 to 42 percent. More ominously for Democrats, in states where there is a competitive Senate race, Republicans lead the generic ballot by 16 percentage points, 52 to 36.

“Though the American public is as divided as it has been all year, as we head into the 2014 general elections the advantage among likely voters is flowing toward Republicans,” said Christopher Arterton, George Washington University professor of political management and poll director.

A wave is building. Not just in the red states either. Scott Brown in New Hampshire. Al Frankin in trouble in Minnesota. A new poll shows Oberwise only 6 points behind Durbin in Illinois........

Keep in mind that the fewer living Democrats that show up to vote the more ballots the fraud teams can stuff into the boxes. Decent Americans have to win by a lot to stay outside the liberal margin of fraud.

Plenty of time for the GOP to do nothing ...

I'm trying to look at this logically. Once people get fed up with Obama, it doesn't seem that he's able to win them back. Lots of people finally got fed up with the hordes from Central America, promoting chaos in Ferguson, and Obama's really weird and wimpy response to ISIS.

Our real threat is the backstabber RINOs who care more about defeating constitutional conservatives than they care about defeating dems.

Well, don’t expect McCain to keep his mouth shut and help us out. I’m sure he’ll find a way to relapse into “Foot in Mouth” again.

Expect the guys like Krystal, Rove, the RNC, the GOPe, and others to do their best to defeat anyone decent.

And so it goes...

Notice how ol' Thad's been sequestered to his "apartment"? They won't let him out until the lame duck session starts.

What’s the race shaping up like?

If the race is close (10,000) votes or less, the Rats will steal the election in Minnesota.

My 84 year old mom said she was going to vote for Frankin. I stopped the car on the highway and tried to put her out.

I have bruises to show that you can’t push 84 year olds out the car.

Good question...I wasn’t able to find any recent polling for Cochrane after the run-off.

So the writer goes through all the bad numbers. Obama's low approval. Right track at 21%. 16 point lead for GOP in swing states. Intensity stronger than 2010. Etc.

And then concludes...

Given the margins of error involved, that’s a virtual tie. If nothing else, these numbers suggest that the GOP may win the Senate, but it’s not headed for a blow-out so-called “wave” election victory.

LOL!

I think it depends on whether or not the fraudulent ‘RAT ballots turn out or not.

“There’s fresh evidence that Republicans are inching toward winning control of the Senate....”

.
Boo-hoo.

And can we expect any change if that were to happen?

A new poll shows Oberwise only 6 points behind Durbin in Illinois........

"Chicago, we have a problem...."
Now there's the state that would define a wave. They couldn't talk away losing 'Turban.' If Obama wakes up and 'his' governor is GOP (Quinn is so bad he's losing in the polls IIRC) and both his senators are GOP, one of whom is a real conservative, even he'll know something happened. I presume grabbing control of the lL legislature too is a dream too far.

The dearth of polls at this point in the cycle is unusual.

Usually there are polls galore on the chattering channels, especially if the Rats are broadly tied or ahead. Even Cwissy Tingles, who puts up only selected pro-Rat polls on his Scoreboard, has had next to nothing.

It appears they’re trying to keep a lid on really bad numbers ‘til they absolutely have to put something up.

There is no dearth of polls. Polls are aplenty. The dearth is in relation to writing about them. Called suppressing or burying.

I saw a step-change when the IRS revelations came out.

“Not a smidgen of corruption” was quickly followed up with blatant lies about lost emails and implausible crashed hard drives.

Suddenly liberal-leaning centrists all around me were openly admitting they made a big mistake in voting for Obama. Their support for democrats was no longer supportable.

I say “don’t get cocky!”

There’s a lot of foreign money, and DOJ “shake-down” money and drug-and-gambling hot money that the Dems will use to try to steal the November election.

We need to bring cameras — and get everyone we know to vote!

Yes they could send up popular bills and force Obama to veto them. Also Obama couldn’t put Elizabeth Warren on the Supreme court.
