AC-130W Stinger II & AC-130J
1x 30 mm ATK GAU-23/A autocannon
‘Gunslinger’ weapons system with launch tube for AGM-176 Griffin missiles and/or GBU-44/B Viper Strike munitions (10 round magazines)
Wing mounted, AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) and/or GBU-53/B SDB II

You know darn well it is burning the Obamatollah up to be forced into doing this by public opinion and scared democrats who are up for election.

Every bullet, shell and bomb expended overseas is that much less his “Civilian National Security Force” will have available when he turns them loose on Americans.

ME-109 if I remember right had a 20 or 30 mm cannon. The barrel went through the propeller hub.

Spooky was a DC3! Amazing aircraft that DC3, probably the best designed airframe of the 1930s. DC3s are (IIRC) still flying commercially in Alaska. almost 80 years after first flight.

Probably not, I doubt AC130s are flying over Mosul, ISIS has advanced ground to air, to risky to put one up there.

DC3 is in military parlance a C-47. AC-47 or AC47 means “attack.”
