But the first drives the second. Leave the belief in place, and we just have to keep fighting the resulting actions for the next 1500 years.

Which was the point of requiring unconditional surrender in the face of the Nazi and Samurai racial superiority beliefs. We provided evidence to the contrary about those beliefs.

Rush and others tried to explain how it was virtually impossible to live up to that statement as the ‘DUTY’ and ‘JOB’ of the troops is to win the war.
So if you are not in favor of winning the war, you can’t be in favor of the troops.
