Pro-Russian rebels and the Ukrainian military accused each other on Saturday of breaking a tenuous Kremlin-backed truce only hours after it came into force across the war-battered east.

Someone needs to give Ukraine some really good manpads and anti-tank missiles. Kill all of those Russians who have invaded Ukraine for Putin’s glory.

Not even sure if Javelins/Manpads would make a difference now. Without proper air cover the Ukr. Army is doomed. Having reviewed many videos of the aftermath, it is obvious most of their BTRs/tanks/BMPs,etc were destroyed by heavy artillery, as opposed to lighter weapons. Many armored vehicles were turned inside out. Totally destroyed. Burned out. Craters and shell holes everywhere. Indicative of heavy, incoming arty. Russian doctrine. Massed arty. Followed by tank assault.

Even McCain said Russia was using drones against Ukr. Army. Casualties were staggering. Many still missing. At this point, not sure what best path is for Ukraine to follow. But war against Mother Russia, is clearly not the answer. Putin has made his point...

The GRAD is ruling this battlefield. Any large concentrations, on both sides, gets hit by massed Grads, which are devastating. Advanced equipment being taken out by $100 rockets.

Which is why this has devolved into flexible “lines” and small unit fighting.
