In practice, a machine used by McDonald’s would be a lot simpler, as they centralize patty production to get their ideal blend of steer meat and milk cow fat, then freeze their patties. Their french fries are also processed and seasoned in a complicated manner before freezing.

Probably the most labor intensive part of fast food is the rigorous and frequent cleaning of everything, and this is where technology will matter the most.

iRobot Roombas and Scoobas will likely be produced for commercial use, which will require some floor redesign so they can hit every nook and cranny, first with vacuuming, then with wet cleaning with strong solvents. Store cameras going to a computer could direct it all

After paper products are removed from the restrooms, they can get potent directional cleaning and rinsing sprays with the water flowing down a large open drain. Again, requiring restroom redesign and computer camera direction.

The important thing is to realize they can’t do it all with just robots. There are many tasks that are just unsuited for robots, from cleaning windows to emptying garbage, and cleaning and restocking the machines.

And do you wonder why now that Obama, Democrats and the Left want open borders for the thousands of illegal aliens, (new workers), to be granted amnesty? All part of the plan.
