John Gibson: Obama - How Did the 'Smartest Guy in the Room' Become the Dumbest?
Fox Nation ^ | September 5, 2014 | John Gibson Fox News Radio

Posted on 09/06/2014 1:01:32 PM PDT by Kaslin

The last few days have proved to be a crashing reality for the idol worshipers who have left a trail of drool as they have followed Barack Obama since he announced he was the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln and offered his brilliance for the world’s top job.

He announced that he was smarter than his intelligence advisers, no matter what their speciality might be. Politics? Yes, I’m smarter he told us. National Security? Ditto. Economics? Yup, I’m the smartest guy in the room.

He told the New Yorker Magazine he was the absolute champion of the smart people who surround him: ““I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,”he said to Patrick Gaspard, his political director, the New Yorker reported. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m going to think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Continuing on, Obama said, “And let NO ONE doubt that I am the biggest A**hole on this entire planet.”

I was astonished when Obama made that smarter-than statement. A good leader always surrounds himself with specialists smarter than he is. But, then again, a mediocre or bad leader does not. So, he may indeed be smarter than his policy director. Apparently they’re both idiots.

For the same reason that Ike was supposed to be a stupid general and Adlai Stevenson was supposed to be the smartest man in the country in 1952 and 1956 and beyond, until we got to read Eisenhower’s and Stevenson’s diaries and found out that Adlai was a moron but Eisenhower was not.

Because those if us who have taught real college courses know that the Obamadork wouldn’t even get in the door, let alone pass.

On a good day with a tailwind, this idiot would strain to make room temp IQ.

Obama went from a tiny room for a single person to a huge room filled with many people, that’s how.

Is like drinking straight muriatic acid for those that supported and continue to support ‘t’one’. They are learning how ‘low information’ they are and have learned they too were/are ‘low information voters’. Is sticking in their craw like last years sulfuric acid.

When I was 14, my father was so stupid I could scarcely stand to have the old man around, but by the time I was 21, I was amazed by what he’d learned in just seven years.

Kinda like that, only reverse.

Love John Gibson! and as usual, he's right on with his commentary.

Thanks for posting...let's hope the "smartest empty shadow man in the world" will be somewhat curtailed and/or corrected in his activities following the mid-terms...

Many ethnicities struggle with basketball, but somehow it’s more easily noticed, maybe somehow conceptually satisfying, when the guy who just cannot jump to save his life is the WHITE GUY.

And so it is here, too:

When the wincingly groundless and outspoken braggart is the black guy in a hugely visible role, somehow there is no such thing as not noticing and remembering it.

IT JUST FITS.

You know what?

He is NEVER going to live this down.

Jimmy Carter, but without ANY of the well-earned shame.

They did the same with Reagan. The media portrayed him as the amiable dunce. His writings showed he was a pretty clear thinker. We didn’t get to see them until after his death.

He never was the smartest, the only people dumber than him are the people who elected him.

Twice.

Here's a famous "Think" from the past:

Jailer to Bertrand Russell.....And what do you do....

Bertie:...I am a Philosopher

Jailer: "....and what might a Philosopher do....?

Bertie: ..."I Think"

Jailer...."Well then take this tooth brush and do you think you can clean out those latrines over there"

One has to assume, therefore, that he has always thought himself smarter than his Vice President, Joe Biden. Smarter than his Secretary of State John Kerry. Smarter than his Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel.

You're always the smartest guy in the room when you surround yourself with morons....

Easy.

He never WAS “the smartest guy in the room”.

Just had the right “credentials” at the moment.
