Was it on the Tonight Show, “Charley Weaver” used to have the schtick where he read supposed letters from back home in “Mt. Idy”? Now picture an act called “Black Mail” in which a Flip Wilson type reads letters supposedly from “Aunt Lurdine” back home in “Younameit”.....or not..
