O'Keefe's latest online provocation comes at a time when the world's attention is focused on the self-professed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) and Americans are growing increasingly concerned about the danger the group could pose to the US.
His video shows a black-clad jihadi with a British accent being ferried across Lake Erie, which separates Ohio from the Canadian province of Ontario.
'The British government says American journalist James Foley's ISIS assassin was an Englishman,' O'Keefe says in his narration.
'British intelligence believes more than 500 British citizens have joined ISIS. Brits can enter Canada without a visa; it's virtually an open door.'

I’m not sure what his point is. The great lakes are the hardest place to cross and Canada actually does put some effort into protecting the border unlike Mexico who actively aids illegal border crossers.

But the northern border would be much harder to secure. Therefore it takes cooperation with Canada to keep the terrorists out of Canada in the first place. This video should have been shown to American and Canadian officials only.
I would say let's annex Canada to solve the problem, but we let so many muslims in, that I'm not sure the real risk isn't terrorists entering Canada from America.

It would be more impressive if he crossed the Detroit river with the thousands of Canadians who regularly cross to go to Tigers or Lions games. Crossing the width of the great lakes is a pretty low likelihood scenario.
Seems to me that the real issue was the fact that he was walking around here without drawing attention and that doesn’t have anything to do with the border.
Maybe not, but the post I’d replied to asked why O’Keefe hadn’t crossed the border via a barrel...over Niagara Falls.
Oh, right, I've likely just committed a crime in Canada in writing the above.
But let's talk reality. The hypothetical terrorist doesn't need to go to the effort of going into Canada to get to the US, he's likely already got a US government approved visa. And while his birth name might be on the terror watch list, just switching the middle names around is enough to defeat that list and not raise the slightest eyebrow in customs when the name on the passport is slightly out of order.
Yes, we need border control. Not because there are terrorists crossing the border, but because those who are illegally crossing the border will kill more Americans this year than in 9/11. Through murder, drunk driving, domestic violence, lack of care for children, etc.
But hey, least this raises more awareness of the border.
I think the point(s) O’Keefe tried to make are that Brits can enter Canada without passports, it’s easy to cross into US water treatment facilities from Lake Eerie and the ease of entering into a public location (Rock and Roll museum) with dangerous articles. I don’t think shortest or easiest routes were of concern, on this video.
Or, he/she has been imported - along with thousands of others - by 0bola, via our southern border.
