Having a preference... that’s fine. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes.
But this level of crap being spewed...
And I know very well that this man doesn’t know my husband from Adam... and I’m still enraged that anyone would dare speak about this wonderful man in such a way. His tattoos haven’t taken one thing away from his life. He likes them. They make him happy. Then I’m happy.
Well said.
And yeah, this is pretty much what the above posters in question do on a lot of threads like these.
It's what happens when you combine:
1) Someone with not enough to worry about
2) Who mistakenly thinks everyone values their opinion(s)
3) And who has Internet access.
The popular term in the Internet age is a "troll".
Personally, I don't have tattoos -- it was drilled into me by my parents (my dad was a Marine for a bit, then a Navy sailor, and had no tats) that tattoos are in poor taste. I have no particular aversion aside from the fact that its permanent and, lets be perfectly honest, still associated with the low-class, rightly or not.
Certain tattoos (half-chest pieces for example) can look "cool" on certain people who can carry the look, IMHO. I think Colonel West carries his tat as well as anyone could.
