I'm 99% sure our five year old was hit by this. He's been coughing for months now, but is slowly getting better and is almost back to 100%.

Our doctor thought it was asthma and wanted him to start permanent medication. Since my wife and I, and a friend of the family who gifted us with it, had all also had similar symptoms, we (of course) didn't do it.
