~One other thing. When do we get to hold Russians responsible for the crimes of the Soviet Union? Many were enthusiastic supporters...~

What about Ukrainians? They were the second largest group within Soviet Union. Why won’t we hold them responsible? Many were enthusiastic supporters. Soviet politburo had Baltian members too, Stalin and Beria were Georgians. Their respective nations might be held responsible! Ah?

Why not. You excuse the ethnic cleansing of Tatars because they “were in bed with Nazis”, and thats also the common theme excusing current Russian invasion and murder of Ukrainians, and soon no doubt the Baltics. I’m all for Soviet Crimes Trials for ALL involved. The Ukrainians certainly would have been better off if from the beginning of independence they had tossed the bastards out instead of just changing their cap and flag from the Red Star and Red Rag to the Blue/Yellow and Tryzyb.

Course that would be a little rough on Mr KGB.
