I am most thankful, that is for sure. Tuesdays have always been more difficult than other days, but the last couple months have been horrible. We are slowly making progress, but slowly is the key word. A new billing system has been instituted that directly effects my units and it has been a rough go. I have to make all the corrections so the employees get paid correctly, and being security, any officer could work at multiple different places at different rates of pay on any given week.
The numbering system that indicates the billing pay rate is not coming together very easily. And getting answers out of accounting have been a bear. They can only tell me the billing rates, not the pay rates. But we had a breakthrough with the accountant that does the security billing. She came down to our end of the floor and got a lesson on how what we need is different than what she needs. You could see the light bulb go on and she’s a smart cookie and really nice. There is hope!

I’m so glad I can help out on a difficult day! Don’t you just hate when the “updates” are worse than what they took the place of? IT people need to join the real world before they put stuff into a system that is confusing at best.
We have the same problem...not to the extent that you do however!
