Thank you ma’am. I wrote that on the second anniv. of 9/11 while I was sitting in Iraq and I still get emotional when I read it.
13 years ago seems like 13 minutes. I’m a guy who has trouble remembering what I was doing yesterday but can remember down to the last detail what I was doing thinking and feeling on September 11, 2001. It’s the reason I am where I am today. It helped me to focus on what’s important in life...not to mention how things can change in a blink of an eye. Take some time today to remember those 3,000 people that died that day. God Bless America.
I rewatched the video that I posted at the top of my tribute table and it is as raw now as it was then.
I’va always appreciated your tribute using Alan Jackson’s song....and knowing that you were right here in Texas when you did it.
