An egress door can have only one action to open the door. Removing the sleeve would be a second action.

ya know, I learned a long time ago that you don’t have to run and tell the granny panty bureaucrats everything. The ones that actually have common sense {minority} understand the deal and it spares the ones without common sense needless worry and agitation. If I was teacher, I’d keep it in my bottom desk drawer in a paper bag. Never mind what I’d keep tucked away somewhere more private. Better to be fired than dead....

I don’t know the specifics, but the fire marshal is the final word when it comes to use of buildings open to the public.

Doors are real high on the list of what they are concerned with.
