The Democrats' (and Media's) Obama Problem

The Democratic Party and the mainstream media joined to run interference for Barack Obama when he became a national figure. Obama was painted as a charismatic, competent, new kind of politician. The passage of time destroyed this image. Now, the public increasingly sees Obama as incompetent, untrustworthy and unmotivated.

I agree, re the voters. They never voted for him in the first place on anything so exotic as “the issues”, they voted for him out of tribalism and white guilt. They didn’t know then and still don’t know what the issues are, they just feel like he must be their guy because he looks like it and talks purty to the teleprompter.

Leftists never admit to being wrong. As subjectivists [”our own mental activity is the only unquestionable fact of our experience”], when driven to admit that their policies — or politicians who represent them — inevitably fail, they blame those who didn’t believe in them of sabotage-by-thought.

Expect the media to gaslight the public on the failures of Obamanation; history will be rewritten in some places, but mostly redacted. Also expect new attempts of distraction-by-manufactured crisis; ‘how about those horrible Washington Redskins?’

They will hope that two solid generations of Public School dumbing-down/indoctrination [as well as media and entertainment industry propaganda] will protect them from a citizenry being informed and independent-thinking enough to question why they cannot find work, why they are paying more for less health care and why our enemies are increasingly brazen and vicious.

The heat is gradually increased as we are boiled in the pot of a tanking economy. The Democrat/Left hopes that the American people have been made sufficiently ignorant, impoverished and disenfranchised to the point wherein we are going to be invested in dependency and made to believe that freedom only benefits the “rich.”

Then, as battered wives, the American voter will run into the arms of those who impoverished and tyrannized them as we slide further into the abyss of National Socialism.

The Dem’s are clearing out the old lies to make room for the new lies

Well said. They will mythologize Hussein out of the way (we've seen this so many times, and the stakes are even higher with the first Muslim foreign _resident) while laying the groundwork for the next goon to finish the job of laying waste to American freedom and prosperity.

The author is incorrect in one respect. He believes the MSM still have credibility to save or rehabilitate. They are what they are to their core. That means if they begin to appear to have a change of heart, it is all pretend to deceive the American public. They are bankrupt as legitimate newsworthy merchants and will always be that way with the American public. We are through with their lying, misleading propaganda ways.

Right.

AND for the “O” supporters who actually CAN read and write...no amount of evidence proving his daily (almost hourly) incompetence and treason is going to change their minds.

They bet the horse and not the jockey. The DNC could have nominated Pee Wee Herman (may STILL) and if HE pushed the same agenda, they would have voted for HIM, too!!
