yep.. He will not do a darn thing, other than continued targeted strikes... pick up trucks and the like..
we will be in the same position in 2 years.
without ground forces, I do not believe we can destroy them, they will move, hunker down, etc..
we’ll pick off a few trucks and continue to to do that, and that will make the night news...
wow, we have them on the run! we’ll hear that over and over.

Even with over 140,000 ground troops and 13 years in Afghanistan, we haven't been able to destroy the Taliban, largely due to ridiculous rules of engagement and leaders unwilling to wage real war. They will overrun the country after we leave and untold thousands of people will be killed.
The only way to stop this enemy is to visit upon them total destruction, but that is politically unfeasible in today's climate. Americans are angry, but only up to a point. They won't sign up for the true sacrifices that total war against the Islamists will require.
