I read the article and the descriptives with each picture. The girls pictured are not the three girls who left from MN. Two of those pictured are from Austria. Another pictured is from CO and is on trial there, she is shown with a friend. One of the three girls who went to Syria is named but not pictured. She is Somali, one of five children of a single Somali mother. She was supposed to go to nursing scchool but went to Syria instead. The other two MN girls are not named nor pictured. The three MN girls all attended the same mosque, which has led to questions about what is being preached there.

Correction the person who I thought was the family of the girl is a spokesperson for the Somali community. The name I thought was the girl's is the spokesperson, so the girl is not named. The spokesperson does indicate she is Somali and an unnamed family member of hers has also spoken. They have been subpoenaed by the FBI.
