Main problem with this story is that it is still summer in Wasilla, Alaska.

Was 70 degrees this past weekend. No kind of weather for a "snowmobile party."

I live about 60 miles north of Wasilla. As Sam pointed out there is no snow as of yet, except maybe in the higher elevations of the Chugach or Talkeetna Mountains, but not to usable a depth for snow-machining, at least that would be readily accessible anyway. Another point is that the report includes an alleged correspondance from the Anchorage Police Department. Wasilla has it's own PD and would not need APD support. Wasilla is 40 or so miles from Anchorage with several communities in between. APD has no jurisdiction. At most, if the party occurred outside of Wasilla, the Alaska State Troopers would respond. This story is pure, unadulterated BS........
