I bet Reid and cohorts will change the rule back during the lame-duck session.

I am torn by this. I think he would want to, but I think he would rather rush as many judges as he can through to get them all confirmed. I hope we keep the 50 for a few years at least to counter all the new liberal judges and put in the most conservatives judges possible.....although O’Bama picks the judges....Ugh!

They will also be far short the 67 votes needed to override BO vetoes. But it will be good theater, at least.

Fair point. One with which I agree. Particularly when we take into account the votes of the Republican traitors.

But I was just rather nastily reamed out yesterday by an emotional (and juvenile) FReeper for making a somewhat similar observation regarding the Benghazi hearings.

I would love it if the Republicans made me eat a double helping of crow pie.

Pres—ent Obama has never vetoed anything. All he does is make empty threats. The DemonRat majority in the Senate has prevented any controversial bills from reaching his desk. It would be nice for once to have Mr. Votes Present Obama actually face a bill and either veto or sign it, thereby taking a side, but he would probably ignore it and it would become law by default.

LOL Yup.

First thing I noticed: pretty much all Chamber of Commerce “issues” on the agenda.

Screw the rest of us...........

I see repealing Obamacare is not on the first 100 day to-do list.

I noticed that too. But they do have repealing the medical devices tax. I’m sure that that would expand into a full scale discussion on repealing the whole thing.

Honestly? I think they're terrified of touching it.
