Yes I read labels and I avoid all those chemicals. I have started seeing some of them show up on Whole Foods products. The reason I started shopping there to make avoiding them easier. Oh well........... :(

They’re working to remove all additives and artificial flavorings from items on their menu. MSG still remains, as it does at virtually all fast food restaurants.

Not only is it MSG but I am also allergic to artificial colors and flavors also. Not fun to eat out at new places. Most all restaurants have these additives, not just fast food.

I recall you writing about disodium insonate and disodium guaynalate last week... I mean to reply but forgot... like an hour after that post I was out in the alley behind the office having a cigarette next to the cardboard dumpster for the in-town diner/restaurant a few storefronts down the avenue from my office. On top of the pile of folded up boxes was the box for the meat they use for their Gyros. The last 2 ingredients... disodium insonate and disodium guaynalate.

I just thought the timing of seeing that was really odd.

Local CFA in Stafford VA allows Stafford HS to hold fund raisers, assists the Athletic Booster Clubs and is very supportive of the school.

It is no wonder the Kids will normally flock to the CFA after ball games.

Guess some Lib will call that some sort of illegal and raise an issue over it.

Maybe the kids are appreciative and enjoy good food in friendly surroundings.

BTW, most of the Athletes are a whole different ‘breed’ than your ‘normal’ teenagers and you have to look hard to find many ‘obese’ teens that take ANY sport seriously.
