Great news to see the Peshmerga operating near Rabiah.
They will really benefit from having that border crossing into Syrian Kurdistan after things settle down. Strike while the iron is hot.
Holding Rabiah could also allow them to block the Highway 1 avenue of retreat for the ISIS forces in Mosul, if/when they need to pull back to Syria.
If ISIS could be blocked on the highway trying to run from Mosul, they would be easy prey from the air - I recommend leaving a road open, to tempt them to try.
