So would it be accurate to say Scotland is to England as Puerto Rico is to the United States; a receptor of fiscal support but with less status and voting power than an actual British Citizen? I just don’t know. I haven’t thought very much about Scotland at all. Although I did enjoy my brief, uneventful visit to Leith, Scotland during the Thatcher Era.
