Too late. Had the Rebels been armed and took out Assad 2 years ago then they would be more reluctant to strike deals with ISIS for territory.
Obama now has no choice but to side with Assad. The “Rebels” were always flakes that would turn allegiance on a dime for territory.
They now see an opportunity to get US arms, take out Assad, pretend to fight ISIS and then split the country between them and ISIS.

So now, with a truce going on, new recruits to ISIS can sign up with Obama's Friendly Revolutionaries. They can get trained, paid, and given weapons. Then, when they're battle-ready, they can join ISIS. Mygosh isn't it time for the DC crowd that is only into itself and its power to finally DO SOMETHING?
