Hand up! I know! I know!
The ocean absorbed all that heat because of SUVs and
personal watercraft!!

“Ah but you see...this just means AGW will be even worse. Yes, that’s it — worse and worse when the oceans can take no more and Mother Earth bursts into full blown fever. Yes...that’s the ticket!”

Because AGW and ACC are pseudoscience believed by 1) Useful idiots 2) Paid shills 3) Propagandists and 4) Those who hope to profit politically and economically from their scary stories. Whenever you meet a proponent they will fall into one of those categories.

If the Earth hasn’t warmed for the last 18 years because the predicted heat is going into the oceans, then why is there 43% more ice in the last two years? If you add heat to water containing ice, doesn’t the ice normally melt? Does it normally freeze over, creating more ice?

Sorry, not a good argument. The The theory is that the extra heat is hiding in deep ocean, carried down by currents. The Arctic Ocean is quite isolated from the rest of the world's oceans by landmasses and shallow straits. Currents in the rest of the ocean probably don't have much effect on it.

Personally, I think the oceans absorbing heat notion is silly, but this is not a good argument against it.

There's a giant Sham-wow at the bottom of the ocean that sucks up all the excess heat................

If the heating and cooling of the Earth was condensed into a math formula....there would be over 1,000,000 variants, with differing rates of progression and retreat, and it’d take a hundred math “giants” a thousand years to come to some type statistical model that might explain a quarter of the big picture.

Thank goodness that we bypassed that formula, and went into a monetary redistribution statistical model...opting to take funding from our pockets...settle the heating and cooling aspects...and getting that funding into the hands of environmentalists, community organizers, and those lacking motivation to work for a living. That sure fixed the heating and cooling issues.

There are two basic problems with the ocean heating argument. First the increase is 0.04C with measurements spaced 100’s of miles apart with accuracy of about 0.005C. A little over half the ocean is not measured at all. But the main problem is that the ocean warming result (by Levitus) requires a model that assumes that there is an radiative imbalance and that the heat is going into the ocean. Given those assumptions (circular), they then assimilate the sketchy ocean data which was practically nonexistent before 2004 and make sweeping conclusions for the past 30 years. Not even GIGO. It is an exercise in “practically nothing in, garbage out”.

In Alice in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, Alice says she cannot believe impossible things. The Queen of Hearts is surprised...

This conversation is between Alice and the Red Queen, in Through the Looking Glass.

True science would have long ago discarded the theory that rising CO2 levels from human activity is causing global warming because the data shows there has been no global warming despite increases in CO2 levels. The global warming cultists now have to invent these far out explanations because they cannot abandon the man caused global warming dogma.

To be a true liberal/communist you must always be able to hold at least two conflicting opinions in your mind at the same time and fervently believe and support both. Its a rule of membership.

True scientists have discarded this theory. Unfortunately, the government doesn’t want to listen to true scientists on this issue.

But I recently read an article on how man has bred Aurochs into flatulent cows. So its our fault anyway.

If the global warming model were anywhere near workable it would have already worked all factors in.

Religious zealotry requires the severed heads of the deniers. Sounds very musselman extremist. Hand-in-glove.

TRUE science long ago determined from the ice cores that the CO2 FOLLOWS a global increase in temperatures. Not leads, never mind produces the causation for that increase.

"I thought flatulent cows were also a reason?!!"

You've never heard of sea cows? They're closely related to huge manatees.
