Cause of death was a lung infection? I would have thought that absence of a brain would have gotten him much earlier.

Of course he will get a glowing article in the Slimes. They hate the military like he hated it. Destroy it. They all can agree. Good riddance scumbag.

I went in the Army in January 1977 and today is the first I ever heard of this punk.

In 1972 I was Huey driver in South VN while Jane Fonda was in Hanoi (the b**** is still breathing).

Hanoi Jane was big into the “G.I. coffeehouse” movement to undermine us & there was talk of unionizing the military but I don’t recall this `Andy Stapp’ creep.

Good riddance & I hope she’s next. Oppose the war if you want but don’t encourage the enemy; she did.

I vividly remember her and all the other left-wing commies and their attempts to "end the war."
But the union thing remains a mystery. Figures the NYT made him look like a hero.
Welcome home.

Thanks for the laugh. I never heard of this guy. I think I read somewhere though that in other armies, officers were elected from the enlisted men.
