Two minutes. I was and still remain deeply puzzled. They didn’t rough us up or anything - just put my husband in a different room. Of course, as Freepers know, I’m much more dangerous than my gentle husband.
I know our local police chief once told us that the force spends most of it’s time on domestic abuse cases instead of traffic stops or anything else.
They assumed that they were walking into a domestic battle. You’d think they’d wait to make that judgement depending on what they found. I don’t expect cops to be rocket scientists but I bet the average hamburger flipper could make that call better than your police did.
