I agree about the hard winter...trees are losing their leaves much earlier this fall, and with the bumper crop of acorns on the ground, Im guessing Mother Nature is turning squirrels into “Preppers” ;-)

Same thing happening here. With all the coal plants being shut-down on the East Coast, electric rates are rising 20-30% each quarter, and will bankrupt many homeowners and businesses this winter, if they don’t have nat-gas to heat. The EPA’s outlawed old wood stoves and fireplaces as of Jan 2014, and will soon have their SWAT teams raiding rural homes. This won’t go over well at all.
