A GROUP OF well-dressed college-age men and women apparently dined at an upscale Center City restaurant Thursday night before some of them brutally assaulted two gay men on the sidewalk just two blocks away.
Internet sleuths Tuesday joined Philadelphia police and reward-givers in a hunt for the group of clean-cut 20-somethings linked to the shocking assault.

Obviously, with the over-whelming majority of these types of incidents being hoaxes, my radar went off. It seems incredibly unlikely that you'd have 12 people who'd take part or witness a savage beating and not turn in the others.
Also, this type of stuff just doesn't happen in America today. This reads exactly like a homosexual fantasy: Some rich, young, white, privileged, obviously knuckle dragging Conservatives, and probably Christians too...
In fact, other sources say they'd just finished having ice cream with one of the homo's mothers. In that neighborhood? Possible, but not likely.
My guess: The two homos had a spat and beat the hell out of each other. Possibly they started up with one of the women and got a beat down put on them.

Yeah, this will probably be another media hissy fit about something that has probably been mis-reported. Seems to happen all the time with queers getting beat up or worse.

Note that the linked article doesn't state, per my cursory reading, that said video was OF the alleged 'attack', but merely of the accused group walking together.
Not saying impossible, but a bit too pat on the face of it.
this was either a previously arranged orchestration for victimhood drama, or it was that lovers spat that got physical.
By nature most gay people are consummate drama seekers.

And then there's the possibility that no "gay bashing" occurred at all.
That's true from that video, unmentioned in the article was that someone from the group apparently posted a group photo on instagram, or some such thing.
They were together, but that raises another question: If you were part of a group that beat the hell out of a couple of people, would you keep (or put) that picture on social media?
In the Delaware Valley (which I'm somewhat ashamed to admit I am a resident of at the moment). Let's have hope in the rural residents of this state.
There hasn't been any updates on this story which broke either late last night or early this morning.
If these folks didn't have a good alibi, there would be further developments in all likelihood.

It has been the rage, because the “attackers” were not black, supposedly. In fact , I saw this story on F-—book, and I clicked on the link...and the FIRST comment was from a f—kstick named “hemmingway” who IMMEDIATELY stated that Rebublicans can’t blame black people for the beatings. Which turned into a 345 post long argument.
