AFAIK, the only people offended by oriental are western PC liberals.

Maybe so, but they get a little salty when you call them “Ornamentals,” and they don’t like being called “Chinamen.”

I had a Taiwanese chick tell me she thought “oriental” was offensive...but she was also a left-winger that joined that bandwagon without knowing why.
‘Oriental’ simply means something of the East.
