Congress is living in an "evidence-free zone" as it debates issues of equal pay and family-friendly work policies, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday.
"Unfortunately, reality is not always the context in which these decisions are made. The Congress increasingly -- despite the best efforts of my friends and others -- is living in an evidence-free zone," she said during a roundtable discussion at the Center for American Progress focused on women's issues.
Clinton made the remarks during a roundtable that also featured Democratic Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Patty Murray, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and Rep. Rosa DeLauro.

Why do.liberals keep going with this meme that women are seeking equal pay for equal work? That women are not paid fairly and all that?
1. The Equal Pay Act of 1963 prohibits Paying a woman less for the same job as a man.
2. Hillary and liberals should be happy that a good Democrat is in the White House. Meaning that Obama and Eric Holder already have the laws and legal tools at their disposal to fight this alleged pay discrimination.
3., if women are really being paid less than men for the same work, a good liberal such as Obama should be initiating multiple lawsuits against companies violating the law.
4. Hillary should be calling out Obama and Eric Holder for not enforcing the Equal Pay Act, if indeed this issue is still a problem to be dealt with.
5. Liberals are not intellectually honest in pushing this issue. There is no law to be passed on this issue by Democrats because that was taken care of 51 years ago.
Imagine for a second a Republican woman, wife of an accused rapist, running for office on the platform of women’s issues.
Wonder of the press would feel uncomfortable reporting it as ho hum?
Right.
OK Hellary let’s name and list women’s issues for the congress to address.
What difference does it make anyway because with the traitor Dems running the show the USA women will all wind up in burqas eventually. Hail Sharia!

Hillary has no clue what it means t be a woman. She is the last person who should open her mouth.
She knows she doesn’t like it much. That is evident.
They’re out of touch on EVERY issue. But this is nothing but a build up for her election run. She’s gunning for the sympathy votes for the second time this week.
