This is the problem with these independence movements. Where do you draw the line? Why is it OK for Scotland but not Shetland? Given that this is Scotland, we probably could break it up into 30 or 40 countries for each clan.

That’s true but the Scots HATE the English...so it’s prolly gonna happen sooner or later!

Looking at history, there has always been a historic divide between the “lowland” (more pro UK) and “highland” Scots. A Yes win might just be followed up with a lowland vote to stay in the U.K., sort of like N. Ireland.

The Shetlands will be offered a crown to stay.
